White Bay Power Station Open Day - Part 1
White Bay Power Station has been abandoned and decrepit forever and a day. Last Saturday, they opened the doors and unleashed the musty halls to the public. As haunting memories swirled above in the abyss, we traipsed the empty cavity of this colossal building.

Acne Fall 2011 RTW
The label's androgynous signature was still very much present in this, Jonny Johansson’s, latest collection for Acne. Yet something about the fluidity of shape and form added a soft femininity to the looks. Experimenting with length and volume, the show saw models don floor-length skirts one minute and cropped overalls the next. Leather was a prominent feature, mostly in oversized biker jackets and vests, yet the feminine palette offered up by dusty pinks, beige, mustard, olive and burgundy off-set the more masculine touches perfectly. I am particularly in love with the genius dalliance between patent platform sandals and sheer, flesh-toned socks (which I used to keep hidden inside boots)

Teaparty
I am pretty obsessed with cups of tea in general but with cups of madam flavour tea in particular. As far as teabag tea goes, this one is my favourite. They come in the sweetest triangular-shaped, silk infuser pods and my favourite flavours are the green tea with jasmine and pear, white tea with rose (which is perfect both by itself and with a dash of milk) and the sultry chai, which is so addictive with soy milk and a spoonful of honey. A perfect addition to any tea party!
