The Curve of Forgotten Things is Todd Cole's new collaboration with Kate and Laura Mulleavy. Shot mostly in the empty rooms of the historic Baldwin House, sitting on an oil field in LA's Baldwin Hills, the fashionable film stars Somewhere actress, Elle Fanning. The short film highlights Rodarte's Spring 2011 collection, which draws inspiration from 1970s northern california. To add to the dreamy 70s style of Fanning's ever-changing outfits and makeup, Cole shot this short using lenses from the actual era. The film's dusty focus and wonderful Mulleavy styling is only enhanced by the dreamy soundtrack that Deerhunter provide. Definitely worth a look-see!
